John Babin - Legal Attorney is licensed to practice law in both Oregon and California. Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from 
the University of Virginia and received a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University School of Law. John Babin has represented a wide variety of cases from winning multi-million dollar civil litigation suits to assisting small businesses with business formation.
John is an active, well-respected member of the community who participates on multiple charitable boards and contributes to many community activities.
Alyssa Babin - Legal Researcher/Writer Alyssa is a recent graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law. While at Golden Gate, she had the opportunity 
to participate in a variety of legal research and writing activities. She has worked with the Center for Biological Diversity, the Office of the City Attorney of San Francisco, the Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment, San Francisco Baykeeper, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic and the California Coastal Commission. Before attending law school, she was a Rare Plant Manager in the Golden Gate National Parks. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
Alyssa will be taking the Oregon Bar exam in February. She is happy to be back in Brookings and looks forward to pursuing her lifelong goal of opening a nonprofit conservation organization to protect the Wild and Scenic Rivers of Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Alice King - Office Manager Alice has worked with Brookings Law Office for seven years. She is the rock that holds the office together. Alice is responsible for organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions and assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Before coming to BabinLaw, Alice worked as a Bookkeeper for the Brookings Elks Lodge and previously was in the Billing department at the Brookings Clinic.
Alice is a proud mom of four and active participant in her kids football, basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer activities.
